LAD#22

After reading McKinley's War Message, here's the summary I came up with:
McKinley begins by talking about how how the war between Cuba and Spain is stressing the American policy of neutrality and is causing issues for the American citizens. He then goes on to talk about how American trade has suffered from this. He then continues to offer options for America to take to help end the war, with one option leaving the US neutral. He then outlines the plan for the US to help end the war and asks congress to give him the power to go through with his plan.
